Louisiana State Senator Elbert Guillory, formerly a Democrat, recently — and enthusiastically — joined the Republican party. Not long after announcing his move, Guillory released a video explaining why he is now with the GOP. The powerful video is titled, "Why I Am a Republican."

As Patriotic Moms, we need to prepare to communicate our guiding principles as well as Senator Guillory.
Each day we should prepare and share. We prepare as we study issues, principles, and history. We share by talking to our families and teaching our children the things we've learned. They need to build a solid political foundation in their minds and hearts so they will be able to withstand the tsunami of deceit in our classrooms and culture.
More of us are needed to follow Senator Guillory's example!
