
It brought back sweet memories of working in the garden, getting help with school projects, praying together, going on vacation, attending church and so many other experiences that couldn't happen without planning and effort.
Sometimes it takes being a parent to help us recognize and appreciate the daily sacrifices Dads make for us when they are tired, busy, or hungry. Sometimes we understand the times Dad had to be the "bad guy" better when we have to discipline our kids. We would never bother if we didn't love them so much.
Father's Day is a great time to express our love and gratitude to our Dads, and to the other men who have made a difference in our lives!
