Looking for a Great Book?

Looking for a great book to read with your family this summer?  You're in luck!  

Just released this month, "The Miracle" is a book children of all ages will love.



The Miracle

A little girl, building a fairy house in the roots of an old oak tree, finds a tiny, blue speckled egg. It’s the perfect teachable moment for her mother, who takes the opportunity to discuss the miracle of life and the value and sanctity of life, even before a baby is born.

Pro-life children’s books are rare, but I felt a strong urge to tell this story after a well-publicized attempt was made to filibuster pro-life legislation in Texas last year. I sadly noticed many young friends and relatives supporting the politician who led the filibuster, and wondered what we - as parents - have missed in teaching our children about the miracle and gift of life. How do we combat this prevalent dismissal of when life begins? How do we teach our daughters that pregnancy is a blessing, and that her job is to protect and treasure the life growing within? 

I believe we have to reach our children before society and peer pressure take away that natural inclination to marvel at the miracle of life. I hope this book will help families introduce the subject in a gentle, age-appropriate fashion and that little girls who grow up with this book will always remember how precious and amazing the life of an unborn child really is.

Best Argument for Constitutional Government

"Let's assume he's telling the truth. 

He learned about the VA scandal on the news when we did.

He didn't know about foreign and domestic spying, or of DOJ bugging the AP. 

He was ignorant of the IRS, EPA, and other agencies bullying conservatives. 

He didn't know we were pumping guns into Mexico like some kind of international radiographic angiogram to see if we could track the flow of the toxins through the Mexican appendage.

These and other outrages were the acts of rogue adventurer agencies, which, as David Axelrod said, no president could really monitor. Assume it's all true. 

Isn't that the best argument possible that to restore Constitutional government, it's critical to reform, limit, and cut back the power of federal agencies?"  ~Shawn Mitchell

At very few times in the history of our country has the national conversation been as divided and contentious.

It seems that nothing could be more important than an honest, respectful discussion of the issues.  

So why do so many on the left want to ridicule, marginalize, even criminalize, those who disagree with them?

Wouldn’t people who have confidence in their opinions want to discuss the merits of their view and win their fellow citizens to their side with reason and persuasion?

Planned Parenthood Is All About Abortion

Planned Parenthood is a big business, a big business that sells one thing -- abortions.  They sell as many as they can.

They start by promoting sex to kids, passing out low quality condoms, and low quality contraception.  

79% of Planned Parenthood facilities are located within five miles of a college campus because college campuses are a major source of revenue for them.

They provide counseling, but no real choice.  

For every adoption, Planned Parenthood sells one hundred forty-five abortions.  

They have to meet their quotas or they could not bring in almost $700,000,000 each year.
