One of my favorite memories from childhood is gathering around the TV with my family and watching Disney's "Wonderful World of Color." My brothers and I loved viewing those classic old movies together.
My brothers were especially fond of movies like "Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier." Frontier life became real for us as we watched Davy's adventures. We learned the story of the Alamo and cried when we discovered that Davy died in the final battle.
As March 6th is the 176th anniversary of that battle, here is the Davy Crockett movie. I hope it's as good as I remember, and that your children enjoy it as much as we did!
