Darrell Scott is the father of Rachel Scott, a Columbine High School student who was killed as she quietly shared her faith in Jesus.
Out of unfathomable grief, Darrell teaches powerful and poignant lessons of forgiveness, courage, and love. These beautiful lessons are important to talk about with our children.
For all people, this video is a moving reminder of our potential to rise above any pain and suffering we may experience. For Christians, it is so much more...
Poem by Darrell Scott,
Father of Columbine Victim
Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage,
You've outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question 'Why?'
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!
