We could solve all our economic woes if only the rich people would pay their fair share of taxes.
At least that's what some Progressives say.
Progressive politicians are fond of making promises with other people’s money.
How else can they get elected?
However, the harsh economic realities are increasingly hard to hide. In the words of Margaret Thatcher, “The trouble with Socialism is, sooner or later you run out of other people’s money.”
But so far, economic realities haven’t stopped the Progressives. They don’t mind mortgaging the future of our kids and grandkids to China. They still pretend the debt could be paid if only rich people weren't so greedy.
Well, it doesn’t take long to dispel that myth. Bill Whittle does it in under 10 minutes.
"The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the law of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If "Thou shall not covet," and "Thou shall not steal," are not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society, before it can be civilized or made free. ~ John Adams
