Ron Paul was first elected to serve in the House of Representatives in 1976, and after a wonderful career, he will be retiring from Congress at the end of this term.
Although his views weren't always popular, Ron Paul was always a knowledgeable advocate of constitutional principles.
His devotion to the Constitution over the years has changed the course of the national conversation. He is a genuine patriot, and his courage and integrity were unique in a city filled with politicians with few guiding principles. He will be missed.
This video is a tribute made by the RNC for Dr. Paul's many years of service.
"I have come to one firm conviction after these many years of trying to figure out 'the plain truth of things.' The best chance for achieving peace and prosperity, for the maximum number of people worldwide, is to pursue the cause of LIBERTY." ~Ron Paul
