Cardinal Timothy Dolan is our hero this week.
After Cardinal Dolan was invited by Republicans to pray at their national convention, he offered to pray at the Democratic National Convention as well.
Refusing his offer at first, Democrats changed their minds and invited him to give the benediction at their convention.
Dolan has long been a leading voice in defense of life and traditional marriage and, even in this challenging setting, his beautiful benediction reflects his beliefs in a wonderful way.
Thank God for leaders of courage and conviction at this troubled time in our nation's history!
